April 17th, 2007 Re-Posting the Site

Hi there! 3d6 Games might be dormant, but I have pulled out the old site just for kicks. Please note that all the information on the site is very old and should not be taken as current information. Enjoy!

December 31, 2002 Blast off with Rocket Dog!

We've added a great new section to the Development area of our site: a
gallery of images and production notes of our internal project, Rocket Dog!
In addition to being damn cool, it offers of insight to the way we
create art for the Game Boy Advance.

October 10, 2001 – New Look Again

We love the new look of our website, and we hope you do too! Let us know if you see any problems and we’ll try and get at it right away.

October 9, 2001 – Tetris Goes International!

A cart containing English, Spanish and Italian and another containing English, German, French and Dutch were approved by NOE today. A special treat...4 player link and 4 player multi-boot grace these versions of Tetris. Look for these carts to hit the shelves soon!!

September 25th– Atlantis Goes International

A single cart containing the UK, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch version of the game was approved by NOE today. Look for it to be on shelves soon!

August 28, 2001 – Year’s Work

We've just finished the last of our products that will be shipping this year, so check back shortly for the official release dates of Tetris Worlds, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and John Madden Football!

August 15, 2001 -- Approvals

Atlantis: The Lost Empire Game Boy Advance and John Madden Football Game Boy Color have both passed Nintendo and will be shipping later this year!

June 6, 2001 -- Cats and Bags

Well the cat's out of the bag now so we can proudly announce a few new projects we're working on. Tetris Worlds and Disney's Atlantis for the Game Boy Advance! Both games will be published by THQ and we're already thick into development. Can't say much more than that at this time, but keep checking back right here for more information.

January 26, 2001 -- New Look

Welcome to the new look 3d6 Games web site! We're still changing things over, so there may be a broken link here or there. We'll get to it!

November 15, 2000 -- In Stores Again!

Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 hit the shelves today, just in time for the Holiday rush! Grab it while you can, because according to our favorite local retailers, it's flying off the shelves!

November 5, 2000 -- In Stores!

Road Rash and Madden 2001 hit the shelves today! Check them out at your local retailer.

September 12, 2000 -- Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 Game Boy Color has been approved!

Today we received confirmation from Nintendo that Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 for Game Boy Color has been approved for manufacturing! Special thanks to everyone at 3D0. The product looks cool, check it out!

September 7, 2000 -- Road Rash GBC has been approved!

Today we received confirmation from Nintendo that Road Rash for Game Boy Color has been approved for manufacturing! WooHoo! Make that a double WooHoo! That's right, another product on the store shelves for Christmas! Special thanks again to Electronic Arts and the entire development team.

September 1, 2000 -- Madden 2001 has been approved!

Today we received confirmation from Nintendo that Madden 2001 for Game Boy Color has been approved for manufacturing! WooHoo! This will be the first product to hit the shelves under the 3d6 Games banner. All of us here want to extend a special thanks to Dan Filner, without him, it never would have happened. We would also like to thank Electronic Arts for giving us this opportunity.

August 2000 -- Vegas Baby!

3d6 Games is proud to announce that it will be moving its primary office to Las Vegas, Nevada! Billy has already picked out a house and Troy is going to search for office space when he moves out there next month. We'll maintain a northern California office for Dan, Chris, and the rest of the crew, but the bulk of our internal development will be based in the desert.

May 2000 -- E3 - Ulala, need I say more?

3d6 Games wandered the floor of the Electronic Entertainment Expo last week and all I can say is Ulala. Sega's Space Channel 5 for the Dreamcast is a new twist on dance and music games that knocked our socks off. It's one of those games that pulls all different kinds of people to a new genre; it's that good. We also saw Diablo II for the 4th consecutive E3 (we're sure that's a record) and well... it looks a lot like Diablo I. Still, can't wait for it to hit the shelves (heck, we already pre-paid for it). All the BattleTech fans out there will be glad to hear that Mechwarrior 4 was one of the most impressive titles at the entire show. Maybe the acquisition of FASA wasn't a bad thing after all. Legends of Might and Magic from 3DO turned a few heads, and while it's not due out for a while it looks really promising. Did anyone else notice that Pikachu took Mario's spot at the Nintendo booth? Poor Mario... Hardware freaks should take a look at Creative's 3D Blaster Annihilator 2. This video card should kick some serious butt.

March 2000 -- 3d6 Games is hiring!

March 14, 2000 -- 3d6games.com is launched!
